About This Project
The Venice Circus Mural is a vibrant 250-foot public artwork celebrating the rich circus heritage of Venice, Florida, honoring decades of history with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey legacy and the community that welcomed circus performers and animals through the years. This dynamic piece was created through the collaboration of Mark from Bulk Styles and fellow muralist Sami Makela, blending spray paint and traditional brush techniques to bring movement, color, and storytelling to life on the wall outside the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park. Their work not only beautifies the area but also preserves local cultural memory with scenes that echo the city's unique past.
Mark's contribution to this large-scale mural reflects his signature attention to detail and commitment to community storytelling, complementing Sami's vision as co-artist while working with durable UV-protected materials designed to stand the test of time. The project was supported by local beautification efforts and community fundraising, making it a true collaborative landmark for Venice's cultural landscape. Visitors and residents alike can now enjoy this colorful tribute that connects public art with historical pride, marking another standout achievement in Bulk Styles' portfolio of impactful mural projects.
